Letting the time go by
Here am I, letting the time go by, listening to Jack Johnson and breaking impossible tortillas. Never mind, can't make paella either if you were wondering. After a while one starts getting adapted to the Sweds, doing this strange things as baking, "fiking", "soling" and not speaking (but this is mostly because my Swedish is kind of crapy) but I still don't say my name when I answer the phone, because this is so incredibly funny for the spaniards that I just keep answering "Hola" when I answer here in Sweden (I know you guys get it...)
One of the worst things about learning a language is the humor, because even if you get the jokes it's hard to make them, I mean that you can make it but people will think it's serious and start worrying. But what's the point of making a joke and not pretending to be serious? So yes I think some people think I'm crazy, and I am writing this here today to let them know that...I DON'T CARE!
But yes it's lovely here now, watching the black birds fly together over the roofs, crossing the lakes with kayaks, letting the time go by...
(Some sun wouldn't hurt either, but I'll go to Valencia soon, the picture is from Mojacar, Almeria)
