About the wedding and other pictures

Yes, I know, more than one month late, Clara! but I own you this, I have to give you the story in English, if not in Swedish! Otherwise, yes, I'm happily married, and in this short time I've been in Johannes brother's wedding in Paris, I sprang a race in my Argentinian football t-shirt and I've been in the Stockholm's archipelago, take it as a spread out honey moon, or we'll see when it comes. But here comes the story of the wedding:
Once in a time, a girl from Buenos Aires and a boy from Norrbotten met in an apartment in Madrid, which belonged to a friend from El Salvador... We were friends first and spent time together in the streets of Madrid, dancing, trying to talk in the extremely loud pubs, walking by the hand under the rain when all taxis were full at night... Then it was Sweden, Uppsala, the student's city, my PhD, the friends, the darkness and then the light, the around the world trip... and we always were together. In April 25th we married in Altea, Alicante. The day started pouring rain and the hairdresser took two hours instead of one, making the groom quite nervous but the rain stopped at some points, getting brighter as the day went by. In the ceremony, we went down the stairs where everyone was waiting while Pablo, my brother, played "Moon River". Although he didn't know it, I really like this song "two drifters out to see the world, there's such a lot of world to see". Although it feels weird, I have to say, to go down the stairs with a white long dress, everyone looking at you. I got emotional after seeing Carla crying... Then we needed Oscar and Ida as witnesses but we forgot to say it to them so they had to sign a paper in Spanish that they didn't understand, ooops, thanks anyway! And the councilor asked if I wanted to marry Lars, hehe, it's Johannes first name, and my brothers seemed a little worried in case I would marry someone else!! LoL But, no, I married the one I was supposed to. Not many people understood the words he said in Spanish in the ceremony, so to synthesize it was about man and women being equal, building a family, respect, loyalty, all good, I don't remember it´s not that I didn´t pay attention but I was excited! Then we gave the rings to each other, we kissed and everyone throw rose petals to us :)
The dinner was a mix between Spanish (lots of food) and Swedish (lots of songs) weddings, and we added to the Swedish songs "La bamba" which all the Swedes could sing and even some Spanish. There were also some talks, from Johannes' father and Anna, which Gabriel translated "live". And our friends made a song for us from John Mayer "I'm yours", saying "she's yours/he's yours", lovely. We made also a ppt with their pictures with the songs "This is the year" from Marit Bergman and "Son mis amigos (they are my friends)" from Amaral. Another highlight was that we got to cut the cake with a real Toledo sword. After this I gave one rose to each girl (this is why my bouquet was loosing roses, because they were detachable). I really liked the cake of truffles and egg yolk, but many preferred the pudding with dulce the leche and Jessica even asked for the recipe! After the cake Anna said that people say that rain gives luck and it had been raining quite a lot, but still she didn't think we needed it.
There was still a surprise, Johannes made a talk for me! And he said he just wanted to be where I am, and later I improvised a talk to him (well in Spain we are not used to talks) and I just said that when we talked about getting married I though to myself, "of course, it's Johannes, it's the person I´ve been most happy ever with" (hmm this doesn't sound very English but...). After the dinner we danced "Cheek to cheeck" Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Amstrong, followed by a very long Blue Danube valtz, that ended taking out my dad and Johannes' mother for dancing. After this Andres, my other brother, played a song with his saxofon for us!
In the sunset light we even had some time to make some pictures by the sea, which we couldn't do before because of the weather, and some of these you can see here in the previous post, amazing pictures with the sunset and the sea! Then we came back and danced more, and everybody was drinking "Valencia's water" which is a combination of cava, cointreau and orange juice ( 64 of these glasses compared with only 2 glasses of white wine). And as in the hotel they didn't let us put the music very high our friends developed a silent dance. Finally, to end the night in the right Valencian way we threw fireworks at midnight!! And to say goodbye our friends sang our song "he's yours/she's yours". It was a wonderful day.

The pictures are from the Swedish archipelago (Finhamn and Möja), Paris and Guadalest (near Altea).
